When working with clients from backgrounds that are different from her own she will help clients to explore how their own culture influences them in their lives. In a supportive way counselling will allow clients to deeply reflect on cultural norms, expectations and values that may be impacting them in helpful and challenging ways.
With a genuine interest in learning to get to know you she can help you to also get to know yourself better. Allowing clients to raise awareness on their own personal values and experiences they can explore race, ethnicity, gender, spirituality, religion, discrimination, racism, bias, assumptions, marginalisation, immigration issues, political issues, societal influences, violence, trauma and social injustice.
Support to grow and develop within their own identity and sense of belonging clients can find the confidence to be the best version of themselves.
